Shred Central clubhouse has been around since 1998 when ownership was changed from the old skate park known as Rampsterdam. The name came from Canada's famed punk group The Dayglo Abortions who wrote a song about a place where all the skater punks hung out. The clubhouse has gone through many changes over the years but has maintained it's attitude and commitment to keeping things real for Toronto skateboarders. All proceeds generated are used to repair and maintain the skate park. Shred Central is designed to give it's members a much needed place to skate, hang out and listen to good music when the weather is awful. Shred Central is small but it's a BMX /Roller Blade free zone which helps keep accidents low and the ramps in fare condition. Shred Central is owned and opperated by skaters only with absloutely no help from the city or major corperations. Shred Central is commited to having a safe and fun place for everyone to skate. On behalf of Shred Central I would like to thank all our customers for supporting us over the years.
